THE BEEKEEPER

Seth Babcock Rick

Seth's Humboldt Gold market stand

For more than three decades, Seth has kept bees in the fog-belt and redwood country of Humboldt County. What began as a few hives grew into Humboldt Gold — raw, unfiltered honey gathered from the Avenue of the Giants and poured into the glass bears travelers pull off the highway to find.

His curiosity has carried him around the world — decades of international beekeeping congresses, including Apimondia, the world congress in Ukraine — always bringing the best of it home to the coast.

Seth's own words are coming soon — his story, in his voice.
